Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges
Your journey starts with a morning departure from Marrakech. First, you’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass.
Then, stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to explore its legendary kasbahs featured in many films.
After lunch, continue through the fragrant Valley of Roses, especially beautiful in spring.
Finally, arrive at the Dades Gorges to admire dramatic rock formations before enjoying dinner and overnight in a charming guesthouse.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs create one of Morocco’s most stunning natural sights.
Next, head toward Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and desert festivals.
By the afternoon, you’ll reach Merzouga. There, mount a camel for an unforgettable ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
As the sun sets over the golden Sahara, you’ll settle into your desert camp for dinner under the stars.
Day 3: Discovering Merzouga
Wake up early to witness a magical Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, return by camel to Merzouga where your driver awaits.
Then, visit Khamlia village to experience live Gnawa music, a traditional sound brought from sub-Saharan Africa.
After that, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the palm grove and the seasonal lake of Merzouga, also known as the Flamingo Lake.
You’ll end the day with dinner and overnight in a desert lodge.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Begin the day by traveling through the stunning Ziz Valley with its lush palm groves.
Then continue to Midelt, located at the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
As you drive north, pass through Ifrane, often called Little Switzerland due to its alpine architecture.
Eventually, you’ll arrive in the spiritual city of Fes, where you’ll stay in a traditional riad.
Day 5: Full Day Exploring Fes Medina
Spend a full day discovering Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco.
Your guide will lead you through the medina, where you’ll visit:

Known for its peaceful blue alleyways and artisan culture, Chefchaouen is a visual delight.
Spend your afternoon exploring the medina, tasting local food, or simply soaking in the calm vibe of the town.
Overnight in a riad.
Day 7: Chefchaouen – Tangier
Depending on your flight or ferry schedule, enjoy some final free time in Chefchaouen’s enchanting streets.
Finally, drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to arrive in Tangier.
