2 DAYS TOUR ZAGORA DESERT

Embark on an enchanting journey from the bustling city of Marrakech to the captivating desert town of Zagora. This 2-day tour promises a remarkable experience filled with stunning landscapes, cultural encounters, and unforgettable adventures. Come with us as we unveil the hidden treasures of Zagora desert, while immersing yourself in the rich heritage and natural beauty of this Moroccan gem.

Day 1 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora Desert – 2 DAYS TOUR ZAGORA DESERT

Departing from Marrakech, we set off on an exhilarating drive through the awe-inspiring Atlas Mountains. Marvel at the breathtaking scenery as we wind our way through picturesque valleys in Tizi N Tichka to capture the breathtaking view of the top of the mountain, verdant oases, and charming Berber villages. We will have a stop to have a short breakfast and then we head it to Ouarzazate to have a Moroccan delicious lunch. We will have a visit to the Internation Cinema Studio, known as the Moroccan Holiwood. After, we will have a visit to Kasbah Taourit.

Continuing our journey, we traverse the captivating Draa Valley, renowned for its lush palm groves and tranquil riverbanks. Witness the transformation of the landscape from snow-capped mountains to golden sand dunes as we approach the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Arriving in Zagora, A Desert Odyssey and Camel Trekking Adventure is waiting for you to arrive to the desert camp. we embark on an unforgettable desert adventure. Hop onto the back of a gentle camel and traverse the golden dunes, like nomads of old. The rhythmic sway of the camel’s gait and the serene silence of the desert create a truly magical experience. Capture the perfect photograph as the sunset goes down. We are greeted with warm hospitality by the local Berber community. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starry sky, accompanied by lively music and captivating tales of the desert.

Day 2 : Zagora Desert – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Kasbah Telouet – Marrakaech – 2 DAYS TOUR ZAGORA DESERT

As the sun peeks over the horizon, we make our way to the famous “Tinfou Camp Dunes,” where you can enjoy sandboarding, an adrenaline-fueled activity that allows you to glide down the dunes on a board. Feel the rush as you surf the sand and experience the thrill of this unique desert sport.

After that we will have breakfast and quit the desert after a beautiful night, spent in typical tents. Afterwards we will visit the village Tamegroute with the pottery kilns, the Koranic library and the underground kasbah. We will also enjoy some tea  in a Berber family.

Our second stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified village known for its remarkable kasbahs and picturesque scenery. Explore the maze-like alleys and learn about the rich history that unfolds within its walls. After a delicious Moroccan Lunch near the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. We hear it to a second visit where you will have a remarkable stop at kasbah telouet and discover the history of the building which was founded by Thami Glaoui in 1956.

We bid farewell to the amazing moments of the desert and embark on our return journey to Marrakech. Reflect on the memories created as we travel through the stunning landscapes once again, arriving in the vibrant city by late afternoon.
